As president of the United Flagstaff Fire Fighters Local 1505, I would like to welcome you to this website.
As firefighters and first responders we never know what the next call may entail. As all-hazard all-risk departments we can go from a basic medical response, to a heart attack, to a structure fire, to a wildland fire, to a mountain rescue, to vehicle accident, and more. Our ultimate goal is that no matter the call, we are able to accomplish the task presenting itself and provide you the service you expect. Service, Dedication, and Leadership
As a labor leader my goal is to eliminate any distraction that may occur behind the scenes for our members so they can be focused on providing you that service. This is accomplished through securing just compensation, benefits, a safe work environment, and the highest level of skill possible. We seek to collaborate at a national, state, and local level with government officials to promote common sense legislation to provide for our members well being. We work with all our employers and stake holders to create policies and procedures that allow our members to focus on the citizens we serve.
Off duty the career doesn't stop for us. We look to give back and support the citizens of our communities through charitable events and giving. Through our mentorship program we seek to develop the next generation of public servants in the fire service.
