Our members are also engaged with training the next generation of firefighters through the House of Jacks mentor program run by Flagstaff Fire Department. Our charitable work partners with the Muscular Dystrophy Association during the annual Fill the Boot Drive. We participate in fundraisers to help the Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Climb the Mountain to Conquer Cancer, 9/11 Tower Challenge, The Shadows Foundation, and others. Our charities also help the community by providing the joy of Christmas presents to the Hozhoni Foundation as well as meals during the holiday season to those in need.

Our Local 1505 Honor Guard is made up of members from across the chapters and has the privilege of honoring any fallen firefighters locally and across the IAFF. They also serve in presenting the colors at union and department events such as graduations and awards ceremonies.

As first responders we are here to serve our communities to the best of our ability every time the tones go off. As an association we strive to give our members the best possible opportunity to make that a reality. As stated in our purpose: The objective of this Local Union shall be to secure just compensation and benefits, a safe work environment, member representation, and the highest level of skill possible.
